The organizers of a UK music festival have announced the company’s insolvency due to various challenges. Solfest, known for its music and arts offerings along the Solway coast near Silloth, Cumbria, has a history dating back to 2004, featuring prominent acts like The Charlatans, James, and The Fratellis.
Although the most recent festival in August 2025 showcased headliners The Doves and Leftfield, the team managing Solfest has revealed the company is undergoing liquidation.
