New footage from surveillance cameras has been released showing a 34-year-old woman who went missing in the early hours of yesterday. Rebecca Lyes disappeared after leaving her residence in Worcester just before 1 am on Sunday. The most recent sighting of her was captured by a CCTV camera on London Road in Worcester around 1:15 am.
Described by West Mercia Police as a slim white woman standing approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall with shoulder-length dark hair, Rebecca has a tattoo of a human heart on the inside of her arm. She is known to frequent Malvern and has connections to Stratford-upon-Avon. Authorities mentioned that she may be traveling with a black suitcase and a white backpack.
Inspector Ben Albutt expressed increasing concern for Rebecca’s well-being, stating, “Rebecca’s family and police are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare. In a separate incident, police have also been searching for Helen Eade, 59, who went missing after leaving Maidstone Hospital on September 16. Kent Police indicated that Helen does not drive and was last seen getting off a bus in Wateringbury. Detective Sergeant Angela Holder emphasized the urgency of tracking Helen’s movements in the Wateringbury area on the specified date and urged the community to check for any relevant footage or information.
