Two individuals lost their lives instantly in a tragic collision involving the SUV carrying Anthony Joshua, as per witnesses at the scene. An observer named Adeniyi Orojo recounted the details to Punch newspaper, stating that the convoy comprised a Lexus SUV and a Pajero SUV. Joshua was seated in the rear with another person beside him, along with two other occupants. Tragically, the passenger next to the driver and the individual beside Joshua passed away on impact.
Eddie Hearn, Joshua’s promoter, was reached by Mirror Sport and informed about the accident while on vacation in the Caribbean. Hearn confirmed that Joshua was safe and en route to the hospital, although he lacked further details.
Joshua, who was born in England but frequently displays the Nigerian flag, was visiting his parents’ homeland when the incident occurred.
