Allegations have surfaced regarding a teaching assistant engaging in sexual activities with a teenage boy, reportedly initiating flirtatious communication when the boy was just 12 years old.
Stephanie Jensen, aged 41, allegedly disclosed to investigators that she began flirting with the victim when he was 12 years old while working as a teacher’s aide. The victim stated that Jensen was aware of his age as she taught students in year two when he was in year eight, leading to occasional encounters at school.
The victim claimed to have engaged in sexual activities with Jensen in September 2024, before he turned 16, noting his lack of a driver’s license as proof. Allegedly, the encounters continued on four occasions from when he was 15 to 17 years old.
The supposed incidents took place at Faith Lutheran School in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, as reported by WBAY. The victim added that Jensen sent him explicit photos during that period and allegedly shared similar content with his underage friends.
According to a complaint obtained by the network, “Victim 1 mentioned Stephanie Jensen was not only sending him nude pictures, but that she was sending his buddies nude content as well. Victim 1 said word travelled throughout his friend group that she was willing to share so people he knew would add her to see what she would share with them.”
Jensen denied the allegations of engaging in sexual activities with the teenager when initially questioned by detectives at her residence. However, she reportedly admitted to sending explicit photos and videos, as per the complaint.
Upon being informed of her arrest, Jensen allegedly refuted the claim, stating, “I am not under arrest,” and resisted standing up from the couch, requiring officers to intervene.
Subsequently, Jensen has been charged with possession of child pornography, multiple counts of child enticement, exposing intimate parts of a child, and 2nd-degree sexual assault of a child.
Faith Lutheran School, in response to the situation, stated to WBAY: “Faith Lutheran School has terminated the employment of Stephanie Jensen upon formal charges being filed in court on Monday. The faculty, staff, and administration at Faith are committed to the safety and care of our students, staff, families, and community. We pray for all who are affected by these events as we continue to put our faith and trust in the Lord.”
