“Man in Critical Condition After Gasoline Attack in Ireland”

A male individual is currently in critical condition after being reportedly soaked in gasoline and ignited. The incident occurred in Co. Tipperary, Ireland, on Saturday evening, leading to the victim, aged in his 40s, being urgently taken to the hospital following what authorities described as a severe attack. Shortly after the event, two men in their twenties were apprehended in connection with the case and are presently under arrest.

According to a spokesperson from the Irish police, Gardaí, they were alerted to a serious assault at Knockane, Co. Tipperary, around 9 pm on Saturday, October 11, 2025. The injured man received initial treatment at the scene before being transferred by ambulance to Cork University Hospital due to the gravity of his injuries.

As reported by the Irish Mirror, the spokesperson confirmed that two males, both in their twenties, were later detained in relation to the ongoing investigation. They are currently held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda station in Co. Tipperary as inquiries continue.
