ITV has announced a revamped team for its 2026 broadcasting lineup after securing a new agreement with the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). Luke Littler, the current world champion, is set to make his return after a remarkable triumph at Ally Pally.
In anticipation of the upcoming coverage, ITV revealed the details of their programming under the recently confirmed three-year contract with the PDC. Viewers can expect to see matches from prestigious events such as the World Masters, UK Open, World Series of Darts Finals, European Championship, Players Championship Finals, and various global World Series of Darts tournaments.
Leading the coverage as hosts will be Sky Sports presenter Pete Graves and Gabbie Partington. Partington will kick off her duties with the upcoming World Series of Darts double-header in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. The punditry team for ITV includes well-known figures like Wayne Mardle, a five-time World Championship semi-finalist, and former Premier League champion Glen Durrant.
Additionally, the team will feature former PDC star Mark Webster and ex-World Matchplay semi-finalist Chris Mason. Changes are also expected in the commentary booth, with Dan Dawson teaming up with talkSPORT commentator Mark Wilson, alongside the renowned broadcaster Ian Danter.
After the announcement of the extended partnership with ITV, PDC Chief Executive Matt Porter expressed his delight, emphasizing the long-standing collaboration between the two organizations. Niall Sloane, ITV Director of Sport, echoed the sentiment, highlighting the network’s commitment to providing free-to-air coverage of popular darts events to UK fans.
The Bahrain Darts Masters is set to commence soon, with reigning champion Stephen Bunting facing Ryusei Azemoto in his title defense, while Luke Littler will take on Paul Lim in the opening round. Fans can anticipate an exciting lineup of events with ITV’s expanded darts coverage in the coming years.
