“Brave Kids Save Dad from Road Rage Knife Attack”

A courageous father, who was viciously attacked with a knife by a man displaying an intense gaze in what seemed to be a road rage incident, has commended his two young kids for rescuing him. Chris Davison, 38, was driving his six-year-old daughter and eight-year-old son to a Halloween event on October 17 when he claimed a dark pickup truck started tailgating him. The aggressive driver allegedly forced him off California State Route 67 twice, while aggressively revving his engine and trailing Davison for several miles.

Davison disclosed that both men got out of their vehicles when the truck driver revved his engine a second time. The man, who had a menacing stare, suddenly carried out a knife assault on Davison, stabbing him multiple times in front of his terrified children who were still in the car.

“As I raised my arm to shield my head, he repeatedly stabbed me here,” Davison recounted. “It left my side exposed, and he continued stabbing me.”

He mentioned that the man fled the scene, leaving him severely wounded and bleeding, as reported by the Mirror US.

“I asked my son, ‘Please, find some tape, find anything. You had a dinosaur sticker,’ which we got from the grocery store,” Davison said. “When he realized it wasn’t enough, he searched the vehicle thoroughly and found my phone charger cord.”

His quick-witted children used their sweaters to help stop the bleeding, with his daughter, dressed in a Halloween costume, attempting to signal passing motorists for help.

“Dressed as a princess, leaning out of the car, shouting for someone to stop,” Davison described.

A friend of Davison’s who was on a motorcycle noticed the situation and stopped to assist, cleaning a blood-soaked phone and calling 999. It reportedly took 27 minutes for paramedics to arrive after the incident. Fortunately, the stab wounds narrowly missed Davison’s vital organs, enabling him to survive despite sustaining severe injuries.

“I am eternally grateful that I am here to embrace and kiss them and tuck them in every night,” Davison expressed his gratitude towards his children.

The suspect, Noah Kane, was apprehended by San Diego County authorities the following day. He has reportedly pleaded not guilty to charges, including attempted murder.

By Thursday, a GoFundMe campaign for Davison had nearly achieved its £3,800 ($5,000) goal, raising nearly £3,000 ($4,000) to cover his medical expenses, lost income during recovery, and essential needs for his family.
