Andrew’s response indicated his travel plans but expressed interest in meeting Epstein in New York at a later date. Epstein forwarded the exchange to the executive, who faced repercussions in 2023 for misleading financial authorities about his ties to Epstein.
In a 2019 Newsnight interview, Andrew admitted visiting Epstein was a mistake but claimed it was to terminate their friendship in person.
