Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have recently made the decision to end their 19-year marriage by filing for divorce. Sources suggest that issues between the couple may have started earlier than anticipated.
According to reports from various sources, Keith Urban was reportedly unhappy with Nicole Kidman over her involvement in the sexually explicit movie titled “Babygirl,” released last year. Urban allegedly did not approve of the film and was uncomfortable with Kidman’s promotion of it.
Reportedly, Urban was concerned about potential ridicule due to the movie’s content. He notably did not accompany Kidman to the Venice Film Festival or the Toronto Film Festival where the film premiered.
During an interview, Urban was asked about Kidman’s on-screen relationships with younger actors, but the questioning was abruptly cut off by his team. Kidman herself expressed the intensity of filming intimate scenes and the toll it took on her emotionally.
Despite the controversy surrounding “Babygirl,” Kidman received widespread critical acclaim for her role in the film, ultimately winning the Best Actress award at the Venice Film Festival.
