Nathan Fielder, the well-known Vancouver comedian, writer, and director, has unveiled a teaser for his upcoming project. The documentary, titled “You Can See Everything,” is a collaboration with filmmaker Lance Oppenheim and focuses on the period leading up to the imprisonment of Elizabeth Holmes, the founder of Theranos, who was convicted of fraud in 2022.
Lance Oppenheim, known for works such as “Spermworld” (2024) and “Some Kind of Heaven” (2020), has joined forces with Fielder to create this documentary. Fielder gained fame through his show “Nathan For You” on Comedy Central, where he humorously dispensed misguided business advice. He also made memorable appearances on CBC’s “This Hour Has 22 Minutes.”
The documentary, distributed by A24, features a trailer with intense visuals and a captivating conversation between Fielder and Holmes. The trailer was revealed at a surprise screening at the Telluride Film Festival, sparking positive reactions from critics on social media.
Among the critics, film director Daniel Howat described the documentary as “hysterical, shocking, and insane,” while music producer Erik Nordgren hailed it as the best film of the year. The documentary’s style and content have drawn comparisons to Fielder’s past uncomfortable interviews, adding to the anticipation for its theatrical release next month.
