Tony Figueroa, the former boyfriend of Virginia Giuffre, recounted a distressing phone call he received from her at the age of 17, just hours after alleging she had a sexual encounter with Prince Andrew in London. Figueroa described Giuffre as being in a state of fear and anxiety during the call, as they both worried about her safety amidst speculations surrounding Princess Diana’s death.
According to Figueroa, Virginia’s voice was trembling during the conversation in March 2001, and they were both apprehensive about potential risks to her well-being. Although Prince Andrew has consistently refuted any accusations of misconduct, recent disclosures led to his relinquishment of royal titles due to revelations about his association with Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender.
Recalling the pivotal call, Figueroa emphasized Giuffre’s distress and asserted that she confided in him about her non-consensual encounter with Prince Andrew. He delineated how he witnessed Giuffre’s transformation from a vibrant young individual to a victim of Epstein’s exploitation, as detailed in her posthumous memoir, “Nobody’s Girl.”
Tragically, Virginia Giuffre passed away at the age of 41, following injuries sustained in a car accident. Figueroa recounted accompanying Giuffre to Epstein’s residence in Palm Beach, where he unknowingly facilitated Epstein’s illicit activities by recruiting girls from school for monetary compensation.
Despite his attempts to persuade Giuffre to leave the detrimental situation, she felt trapped and eventually faced a distressing proposition from Maxwell and Epstein to bear their child. Giuffre’s ordeal continued as she was coerced into training as a masseuse in Thailand, leading to a disconnection between her and Figueroa.
Following her relocation to Australia and subsequent marriage to Robert Giuffre, Virginia’s life took a different course. Figueroa asserted that Prince Andrew should acknowledge his role in Virginia’s tragedy and rejected the prince’s dismissal of the authenticity of a photograph depicting him with Virginia.
Expressing doubts about the likelihood of Prince Andrew facing legal consequences, Figueroa lamented the lack of accountability in the ongoing situation.
