“Trump to Visit Middle East for Peace Deal Signing”

President Donald Trump is set to travel to the Middle East to commemorate the signing of a peace agreement in Gaza. During a televised Cabinet meeting, Trump mentioned the possibility of heading to Egypt for an official signing event for the initial phase of the deal. He also revealed that he had received an invitation to speak at the Knesset, the Israeli Parliament, and expressed interest in doing so.

Trump expressed optimism about the peace deal, stating that it has established a foundation for enduring peace in the region. He further announced the imminent release of all remaining hostages, scheduled for Monday or Tuesday, without divulging specific details of the negotiation process.

The President indicated his intention to finalize the deal by visiting Egypt. He praised the collaboration of various countries in the region, including Qatar, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the unprecedented unity and cooperation achieved.

Regarding his potential address to the Knesset, Trump noted the invitation and stated his willingness to speak if requested. He erroneously claimed that he would be the first US President to address the Knesset, overlooking former President George W. Bush’s prior address in 2008.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio highlighted the pivotal role of Trump’s discussions with Muslim leaders at the UN in facilitating the Gaza agreement. Trump engaged in intensive communications and meetings with global leaders to advance the peace negotiations successfully.

Rubio emphasized the human aspect of the peace deal, attributing its realization to Trump’s personal involvement and dedication. The effort included negotiations through intermediaries in Qatar and Egypt to secure the cooperation of Hamas, culminating in a 20-point proposal endorsed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
