Carey Price is set to receive recognition at the Bell Centre, where he has spent his entire NHL career. The Montreal Canadiens announced that Price will return to the Bell Centre on Nov. 10 to celebrate his upcoming Hall of Fame induction. This event will follow his official induction on the preceding day.
Price will join the prestigious ranks of the Canadiens’ Hall of Fame as its 62nd member. In addition, he will be immortalized in the Bell Centre’s Ring of Honour, a special tribute reserved for former players who have achieved greatness in the world of hockey.
As a goaltender, Price has amassed an impressive record over his 15-year tenure in Montreal. With 712 games under his belt, he boasts a 2.51 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage. He holds the franchise records for most games played and victories as a goaltender.
The ceremony to honor Price will coincide with a game against the Minnesota Wild. Throughout his career, Price has been a seven-time all-star and was selected as the fifth overall pick in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
Meanwhile, the Canadiens will begin their pre-season on Sept. 19, with the regular season kicking off on Sept. 29 in Toronto against the Maple Leafs.
