The Iranian people are continuously striving for freedom, and it is essential for the global community to support them in solidarity.
By backing opposition movements, condemning human rights abuses, and acknowledging Iran’s minority groups, we can contribute to the emergence of a new, democratic Iran. The future of Iran holds significant importance for the entire world. Iran, with its rich history, has been isolated for too long because of its regime’s actions. However, the skills of its people, energy resources, and strategic geographical location can positively impact many nations.
The Islamic Republic of Iran, once a symbol of ideological strength and regional aggression, is now facing internal disintegration. The regime’s decline is evident across various sectors such as the military, intelligence, and administrative structures. The international community must extend both moral and practical support to ensure that the Iranian people’s quest for freedom is successful.
The corrupt regime’s expansionist ambitions have not only depleted the country’s resources but have also alienated a significant portion of the population. A survey conducted by the Gamaan Institute in 2024 revealed that over 80% of Iranians within the country were dissatisfied with the current regime and advocated for change. This dissatisfaction continues to grow, making it challenging for the regime to regain its former strength.
Support from the global community is now more critical than ever in bolstering internal resistance movements in Iran. This backing is crucial in fostering defiance against the regime’s oppression and laying the foundation for future democratic reforms. Advocates, including my party, push for a democratic, federal, and secular governance model. With assistance from Western nations, progress towards this vision can be accelerated.
