A recent official parliamentary investigation has exposed a former Conservative aide who switched to the Reform party during the Tory conference for bullying and harassing a colleague. Robbie Lammas, who was employed under then-party chairman Richard Holden MP, was found guilty of bullying by Parliament’s Independent Complaints and Grievance Scheme (ICGS). The investigation revealed that Lammas intimidated a junior staff member and even demanded a hug following a heated dispute last year.
The investigator determined that Lammas misused his position of authority, causing the woman to feel vulnerable, upset, undermined, humiliated, and threatened, thereby creating an intimidating and hostile work environment. Witnesses reported Lammas raising his voice, making false allegations against the staffer, and threatening dismissal, claiming he had fired previous employees without hesitation.
Despite these allegations, Lammas vehemently denied any misconduct, attributing the complaint to a targeted effort by CCHQ and Richard Holden to discredit him due to his defection. Reform UK has been contacted for a response regarding the matter.
