Cove UK, the company that owns multiple holiday parks in the UK, has gone into administration. This affects a total of 11 sites, including eight managed by Argyll Holidays, acquired by Cove UK for £100 million in 2022. Other impacted parks are Solway Holiday Park, Gwel an Mor Resort, and Springwood Holiday Park. Administrators are now seeking potential buyers for the business and have informed owners via letters.
For those with future bookings at these resorts, administrators advise contacting the site manager. The affected resorts are as follows:
Seal Bay Resort in West Sussex remains unaffected and operates as usual. Alvarez & Marsal Europe has been appointed to oversee the administration process for Cove Communities Holiday Park UK Holdco Limited (HPUK) and its subsidiaries.
Alvarez & Marsal Europe stated, “Our primary goal as administrators is to ensure a seamless transition and maintain stability across the parks. We are committed to minimizing disruptions in day-to-day operations. Owners, residents, and holidaymakers should not experience any adverse effects and can reach out to site managers with any inquiries.”
A spokesperson for Cove UK confirmed the appointment of administrators for Cove Communities Holiday Park HoldCo Limited and its subsidiaries, impacting various holiday parks in the UK. Seal Bay, the largest resort under Cove UK, continues normal operations for guests and owners.
