The young girl suffered severe skin injuries and required plastic surgery after the dog, identified as a Cockapoo, lunged at her. Despite the owner fleeing the scene, members of the public assisted the girl and her father.
The father described the harrowing incident, emphasizing the sudden attack on his daughter as they were walking home from school. Witnesses corroborated the father’s account that the dog’s owner quickly departed without providing any information. The injured girl was promptly taken to the hospital for treatment and surgery.
