Evil leader Vladimir Putin has directed an attack on a significant Ukrainian port, resulting in powerful explosions that rocked the area following a series of drone strikes by Russian forces.
Numerous subsequent explosions, accompanied by fiery blasts lighting up the night sky, were observed at a warehouse on fire at the Chornomorsk port near Odesa. This brutal assault has led to suspicions that a fresh shipment of ammunition or weaponry had been set ablaze. Reportedly, the port was hit by around 20 Shahed drones shortly after a new cargo arrival from Turkey, potentially dealing a severe blow to Ukraine’s military operations.
These thunderous detonations occurred after a close associate of Putin threatened a series of major strikes on Ukrainian military installations. Russian General Valery Gerasimov, a key military figure, announced Moscow’s plans to carry out targeted, massive attacks on Ukrainian military sites and industrial complexes, sending a chilling message of aggression.
Ukrainian officials indicated that the strikes targeted a port infrastructure facility, causing containers holding vegetable oil, vehicles, and wood fuel pellets to catch fire. Despite these details, suspicions remained that the assault may have impacted a military shipment, potentially originating from Western sources.
According to the Russian war channel Ramzai, the subsequent explosions were triggered by a military cargo arrival from Turkey. The channel reported, “The terminal was swiftly attacked right after unloading containers of weapons and ammunition. Odesa has not witnessed or heard such a detonation in a long time.”
Five individuals were injured in the tragic attack, as confirmed by Ukraine’s State Emergency Service. Additionally, the country faced a fierce assault in the border region of Sumy, where a 66-year-old man lost his life due to a Russian aerial bomb in Bilopillia, and a 40-year-old resident was killed in the Mykolaiv district.
This area experienced a total of 98 Russian attacks within a 24-hour period. Putin, who recently turned 73, declared that the war would continue indefinitely, emphasizing the need to accomplish all objectives and goals set for the military operation.
Ukraine retaliated against Russia’s assaults during its unlawful invasion by targeting the LUKOIL-Korobkovsky gas processing plant in Kotovo, Volgograd region, sparking a massive fire. NASA’s fire monitoring system also verified a blaze near the Yefimovka oil pumping station.
These strikes marked the latest developments in a sustained long-range bombing campaign that has severely impacted the Russian economy. Over the past two months, Ukraine has targeted 85 energy-related sites, including numerous oil refineries, leading to fuel shortages and the implementation of petrol coupons in the hardest-hit regions.
