The promotion, available at Tesco stores throughout the month, applies to all third-party gift card purchases, not just Tesco gift cards. According to Ban Mahsoub, Partnerships Director at Tesco Insurance and Money Services, the promotion aims to make gift-giving easier during the holiday season. By receiving two points for every £1 spent on gift cards, customers can give thoughtful gifts and enjoy rewards for themselves, creating a win-win situation.
Tesco boasts approximately 24 million Clubcard members who earn points through various purchases. Clubcard points are earned for grocery shopping in-store or online, buying fuel at Tesco petrol stations, using Tesco Mobile, making payments with a Tesco credit card, and using a Tesco Clubcard Pay+ debit card. Accumulated points can be redeemed for Clubcard vouchers, with a minimum of 150 points required for a £1.50 voucher to spend at Tesco.
