A man, identified as Joshua Garrison, aged 23, was apprehended after creating chaos in a residential area during late hours while being completely unclothed. Garrison was arrested for unlawfully entering several homes and causing damage to property. Surveillance footage captured him lurking in darkness and engaging in inappropriate sexual behavior.
Witnesses recounted unsettling encounters with Garrison, with one resident, David Dale, describing a disturbing incident where Garrison, in a state of nudity, vandalized property and exhibited aggressive behavior. Another neighbor, Thomas Reischmann, narrated how Garrison armed himself with an axe from a shed but did not use it, leaving the back door unlocked.
Security footage revealed Garrison helping himself to beverages from an outdoor fridge before fleeing over a fence into the night. The community in Pinellas Park, near St. Petersburg, Florida, expressed shock and concern over the incidents, emphasizing the readiness to defend their homes, with one resident mentioning the prevalence of firearms in the area.
Garrison, believed to be homeless, faces multiple charges including armed burglary, lewd conduct, property damage, and violating probation regulations. This incident follows a separate occurrence where a naked individual, Steven Burton, leaped off a cliff in an attempt to evade authorities, getting entangled in a tree in Pendleton, Oregon. Burton had intruded into a resident’s home, causing distress, and was later rescued by emergency personnel after being found hanging upside down in the tree.
