Bernie Ecclestone’s spouse has shared insights into how they manage parenting their five-year-old child, despite their significant 46-year age gap. The former head of Formula One, now 95 years old, and his 49-year-old partner currently reside in the peaceful Swiss village of Gstaad.
The couple welcomed their son into the world in 2020 when Ecclestone was 89, marking a new chapter in their lives after marrying eight years prior. They now divide their time between the picturesque Swiss Alps and Fabiana’s native Brazil.
Flosi and Ecclestone have raised their son to be trilingual, with Ace proficient in Portuguese, English, and Swiss German, thanks to attending the International Preschool in Gstaad.
In a recent discussion on their parenthood with Bild, Fabiana discussed how they manage with a 95-year-old father and a 49-year-old mother, emphasizing that they work effectively as a team in raising Ace. Ecclestone, renowned for his role in revolutionizing F1 into a multi-billion-pound enterprise, expressed pride in Ace’s intelligence and potential.
Fabiana highlighted Ace’s wide-ranging interests and talents, mentioning his early aptitude for skiing and his fondness for sushi. Ecclestone also shared his hopes of being a positive influence on Ace, emphasizing the importance of treating him with respect and understanding his bright nature.
Despite the substantial age gap between Ecclestone’s eldest child, Deborah, who is 70, and Ace, who has recently started school, the family maintains strong bonds. Ecclestone mentioned his preference for a low-key celebration with Fabi and Ace at his Brazilian ranch over a lavish party, showcasing his focus on family.
Additionally, Ecclestone recently sold a yacht named after his daughters, Petra and Tamara, following limited usage, with reports indicating that the family-owned vessel was only utilized for a few days each year. Another yacht owned by the F1 figurehead is also up for sale, offering potential buyers a unique opportunity to acquire a luxury sea vessel.
